IIT Remote Center

IIT Remote Center :

Center No: 1395 , Co-Ordinator: Mr. Sainath Patil

Remote Center Coordinator (RCC): Prof. Sainath Patil, Information Technology Dept.

A Remote Center is a place from where the participants (students / staff) can interact with the instructor (faculty at IIT) who is conducting the course or delivering a lecture from IIT Mumbai. The live lectures are transmitted at Remote Center using A-VIEW software.

Vidyavardhini’s College of Engineering and Technology is a reputed Institute with good facility and infrastructure has become IIT Remote Center.

Under Remote Center various workshops are conducted by IIT for Teaching staff Library staff as well as for students.

  • Pedagogy for Online and Blended Teaching-Learning Process FDP 201 (30th Oct 2018 – 13th Dec 2018)
  • Workshop on Koha and Library Automation ( 12th Oct 2018)
  • 1-day workshop on Moodle Learning Management System Under PMMMNMTT Funded by the MHRD, Government of India (15th Mar 2019)

  • 1-day eSim a First Course in the IoT Series for Teachers on 21 September 2019

Institute has appointed Prof. Sainath Patil as a Remote Center Coordinator(RCC) to handle technology infrastructure and other operational logistics such as arrangement of classroom and audio-video equipment.
