1. What is the course structure for the MMS program?

The MMS program is structured into four semesters, divided into two semesters per year, as per the University of Mumbai guidelines. The first year encompasses common subjects for all specializations, while the second year provides a selection of diverse specializations.

4. What is the current student intake for MMS?

The intake is 120 students.

  • ✓ Centralized Admission Procedure (CAP) Open category: 108 seats
  • ✓ Institutional Quota Seats: 12 seats

5. What are the timings of the course?

Monday to Friday as per the Schedule (Subject to flexibility)

6. How much is the program fee?

The MMS Fees during 2024-25 is INR 1,01,230/- for the first year.

7. Are there any scholarship facilities available?

Yes, as per the Government norms & regulations, if the candidate produces an income certificate of his/her parents for the financial year 2024-25 at the time of Cap round admission, the candidate will be eligible for Government of India scholarship/free ship to SC/ST/DT/NT/SBC category students. The scholarship is also available to minority communities like Muslims, Christians, etc. pursuing higher education as per Government norms. All scholarships apply only to candidates admitted through CAP (Centralised Allotment Procedure).

8. What are placement opportunities available to MMS students?

9. What are the documents required for reserved category students?

Students belonging to the reserved category are required to submit the following documents at the time of admission:

  • ✓ Caste certificate for S.C./S.T./V.J./N.T.-1/N.T.-2/N.T.-3/O.B.C./S.B.C. categories.
  • ✓ Caste validity certificate for S.C./S.T./V.J./N.T.-1/N.T.-2 N.T.-3/O.B.C./S.B.C. categories.
  • ✓ Non-creamy layer For V.J./N.T.-1/N.T.-2 /N.T-3/O.B.C./S.B.C categories

10. What is the Selection Process for MMS Programme?

To gain admission to MMS, you must follow the selection process outlined on the CET Cell website. You must provide the original certificates listed in the MMS Admission form and take note of the DTE Code 319410210 for VCET. Failure to submit all necessary documents and fees will result in immediate cancellation. You must comply with these requirements to secure your admission. Refund policies are detailed in the Information Brochure.

11. If I missed the last deadline, can I still apply?

If you missed the previous deadline, we suggest contacting our office during our working hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., including Sundays and holidays. 12. How should I apply for the Institutional and Against CAP - Vacant/Cancellation seats?

The dates for filling out and submitting forms will be announced in the Newspaper, Institute Notice Board, and on the website. During these dates, candidates can visit the Institute campus on any working day from Monday to Friday between 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. to apply for Institutional or CAP - Vacant/Cancellation seats. Candidates can purchase the Application Form by paying the Application fee of Rs 1000/- in Cash/DD/Online. Alternatively, candidates can download the form from the Institute website and submit the filled form to the Institute through Courier or any other possible mode along with Rs.1000/- Demand Draft/Cash or with the proof of online payment. The bank details for online payment are provided below. As admission is based on merit, applying early and staying in touch with the admin department is recommended.

13. How can I reach the Institute?

K.T. Marg, Vartak College Campus, Vasai Road (W), Dist.-Palghar, Vasai, Maharashtra 401202. It is a short, two minutes’ walk from Vasai Road (W) Railway Station. The college is also accessible by road from Mumbai - Ahmedabad Western Express Highway.
